Name: Raelae Prime
Age and Birthday: 43; June 7th,984(The current year is 1027 A.E.)
Race: Hanoidian
Occupation: Gunship and freighter runner for the Hanoid Prime Coalition (delivery girl for all of those illegal and secret cargoes that Hanoid Prime doesn't want the Monarchy to know about)
Special Relationships:
Appearance: Raelae, like all other Hanoidians, has skin the color of cold steel, though it is surprisingly warm to the touch. She’s fairly average height for a Hanoidian female, though she tends to dwarf humans and androids alike by a few inches when she stands 6’3”. Her hair is a natural bright orange/reddish tint, and feels that dying it like some of her fellow Hanoidians is an insult to their race. Her eyes (though the sclera is a natural tint of yellow) are a bright orange/pink hue.
Personality: Her personality around her brother and her personality around her clients are like night and day. Jothie brings out the best in her. Her fun, playful, nature is bright and shining around her brother and she doesn’t ever seem to have a care in the world. But in the presence of her employers or clients, she is all business. Though business and intimidation can only go so far. She’s had her fair share of troubles, and her resolve is beginning to wear. The more she does for the smuggling world, the more she worries about the safety of her brother.
Greatest strength: Raelae has a knack for smuggling. She’s a regular face on Roh and quite well known in all three districts, though her real connections are on Hanoid Prime. The girl can smuggle just about anything anywhere, for the right price.
Greatest weakness: Jothie, plain and simple. Her family, now all but gone, left Jothie is her care when the two were still very young. The two grew incredibly close, and she would do absolutely anything for him. It’s partly the reason that she refuses to let him be a bigger part of the resistance. If anything happened to him… she’d never forgive herself.
Special abilities: None.
Special skills: Talking her way into a better deal or piloting her ass out of a tight spot. For being so tall and noticeable in the human worlds, she does a fairly decent job of staying below the radar.
Interests and hobbies: Though most of her time is spent helping the resistance, one of Raelae’s favorite things to do is to spend time on Doradus and enjoy the serenity and quiet that her life so rarely gives her. She fancies herself somewhat of an artist, though when she finds the time to create it depends on whether or not she’s working a job or not.
History: Raelae started life like many Hanoidians do on Hanoid Prime. Her family had a large part of Hanoid history, and they claim to be direct descendants of the old Monarchy, as their last name suggests. Because of this, her family for generations has had a big hand in the resistance against the new Monarchy. Their goal is to restore order to the system to how it was before the humans appeared: with power in the Hanoidian Monarch’s hands.
Raelae’s childhood was filled with stories of great Hanoidian heroes and myths about the old world. Her father and mother would regale her with what life was like before the new Monarchy, and how much better life would be if it were back. From a very young age, Raelae’s pride in Hanoidian history grew, and the older she became, the more interested she became in joining the resistance with her family. By the time she was 35, Rae had made a name for herself in the smuggling department of the resistance.
Life had been going well for quite some time in the resistance. Raelae was providing shipments of food and weapons to resistance leaders all across the system, and her little brother Jothie had also begun to show interest in the family’s line of work. Things were finally beginning to look up for the Hanoidian family. But with a lifestyle like theirs, there came horrible consequences, and for Raelae, it would change her life.
The Monarchy had gotten word of a small resistance group in Doradus, working with groups of farmers and miners to get them to rebel against the Monarchy’s hold over them. The Monarchy sent in a military recon team to subdue the resistance members and imprsion them. They fought back… there were no survivors. Rae and Jothie’s parents had been leading the team. The news hit them hard. Her entire life had been spent looking up to her parents, and what was she supposed to do with her young brother now? The two grew especially close during those hard times, and she took Jothie under her wing to protect him from the Monarchy. After all, he was her only family left now.
The death of her parents only spurned Raelae onto greater, more dangerous things. She wanted to now, more than ever, to accomplish what her parents did not and to help gather enough people (both human and Hanoidian alike) for a resistance to bring the Monarchy back to the rightful hands of power: The Hanoidians. She worked her way through the crime syndicate ladders, doing well to make a reputation as being one of the most trusted smugglers in Omega Dawn. Though Roh has become a temporary base of operations for her and her work, Hanoid Prime will always be her home, and she wishes one day to return under the rightful rule of the Hanoid Prime Monarchs.
Future goals: To bring the power back to its rightful owners, and to make her family’s name known throughout the system as the leaders of a revolution.

Special Relationships:
- Jothie Prime- Raelae’s younger brother by almost 15 years, Jothie is Rae’s world. The two are thicker than thieves and would do anything for each other. Both part of a resistance movement against the Monarchy, the two are rebellious and always causing trouble for one person or another, though Rae’s job in the resistance is by far more dangerous. Her brother wants nothing more than to accompany his sister on the cargo runs with illegal goods, but Rae refuses to put him in such a position. [Open for play- PM for more details]
- Sarlo Bevel- Raelae’s oldest friend and fellow smuggler pilot. Sarlo and Rae both got into the Hanaoidian Prime Coalition smuggling game at the same time, and the two became fast friends. He tends to be more reckless than Raelae is when it comes to staying below the radar, but it’s that living on the edge lifestyle that Rae finds so intriguing about him.
