The Solux
In the year 1000 A.E., a small religious group emerged. They were benevolent sun worshippers, claiming to find rapture in the annual Final Dawn. Founded by a man named Canus Huel (who is now simply known as the Master), the Solux began with the most meager of congregations, but with a charismatic man leading the way and a doctrine that promised “eternity in the glory of the Dawn,” it wasn’t too surprising when their numbers grew.
Now, nearly 30 years later, the Master and his Priests have increased ten-fold. With his current 30 trained Priests and more than five times that in common worshippers, the Solux have barely made a dent into the population of New Aequitas (or “the damned” as they call them), but they have grown steadily. The Solux have, in years past, been wary to venture out past New Aequitas, fearing that distancing themselves from the Dawn will weaken their enlightenment. The Master has instructed that now is the time, however, and has sent his Priests out to preach to the masses.
The Doctrine of the Solux - In Light, all things can be accomplished - Enlightenment must be actively sought, and must be maintained - 6 hours of active meditation must be done, in open light - The nonbelievers are to be taught of the glory of the Dawn - It is only the Master who can properly interpret the Light - If followed, the Solux can bring rapture to your eternal soul

The Followers
Canus Huel (NPC) Age: 58 Race: Human (impure, but with no physical indication of outside racial influence) Title: Master of the Solux Abilities: Rumored to possess slight psy powers, it is also rumored whether they are a natural gift or gained from technology. Neither theory can be confirmed. Canus Huel also possess an intense charisma that allows him to gain the trust of strangers and lead them to his form of “enlightenment.”
The Priests Priests will be playable characters, but must be applied for, so take careful note on the following: - A Priest must have at least a decade with the Solux - Priests may be male or female but are always Priests - Be sure to include the rigorous training in your history. - The Book of the Solux must be memorized by your character. No book is written at this time, so it will be to your discretion to come up with passages to preach. Administration will let you know if your choices are poor. - Each Priest is given a pendent representing the twin suns of Omega Dawn as well as robes that are a heavy material, cream colored throughout except for the hems, which are blended to represent the colors of the Final Dawn. A Priest also always has the Book of the Solux with them. - Some Priests carry staffs which denote them as one with slight psy powers. Such abilities will be monitored in the application process, and abuse of such powers outside of their true range will result in administrative action. - You have been effectively brainwashed to believe the Master’s doctrine is higher than law. While you are currently non-violent, should he instruct you otherwise, questions would be highly OOC.
The Worshipers Any character may list themselves as a worshipper of the Solux, but please be mindful of a few key things: - Please note how it is that you can to believe in the doctrine - You have been lightly brainwashed (unless you are extremely new to the religion, in which case, prepare to be lightly brainwashed). - Most worshippers revere the Master above their own politicians. If this is not the case for your character, please be sure to explain how or why this is.
